California translation company hires Project Manager to streamline assignments
Word Awareness, Inc. (http://www.wordawareness.com), a small network of professional translators established in California, announces the appointment of Jennifer Grenier as Project Manager. Ms. Grenier joined the team in May and will serve as the company's point of contact for clients seeking translation services and for freelance translators who wish to join the team.
In her new position, Ms. Grenier will be responsible for client outreach, project management, and identifying and selecting potential team members who can add value to the services that are currently offer by our network of translators.
“Due to the overwhelming demand in requests we have been receiving from our clients, in addition to inquiries from several companies and individuals in need of language services, we needed someone who could act as a communications liaison and provide both new clients and potential colleagues with an overview of what our company is about and, ultimately, manage projects once contracts are secured,” said Rafa Lombardino, Word Awareness President and CEO.
Grenier brings over 17 years of administrative and organizational experience to her new position, along with a distinctive educational background. Her administrative experience includes working as an Emergency Services Dispatcher for the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, Assistant Board Liaison to the UC San Diego Foundation Board of Trustees, and Word Processor for Bechtel National, Inc.
Her educational background provides her with an understanding of various facets of human interaction and data organization, from her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology to her Master's Degree in Library and Information Science.
